The event
London’s monumental Saatchi Gallery which has been up and running since 1985 plays host to numerous events in the world of art. The event for which Storm was asked to provide the DJ was a yearly formal gathering of oil industry experts. The events coordinator got in touch with Storm with the aim of getting a DJ who could provide a quality mix of Balearic chill-out and background vibes to create the ideal atmosphere.
The Storm solution
We initially put together a shortlist of DJs from our roster with the skills and expertise in the field of chill-out music. Each DJ was proposed with a demo mix to reflect the appropriate styles, and the client decided on Glu Sound who had previously performed in Ibiza and had a strong background to fit the bill. The client was able to discuss the exact musical requirements with our DJ and mutually decide on what would work best. With compliments from the guests as well as the hosts, our solution was a winner.
