Inspired by house and big bass heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, David Morales and Tiga, the Tutti Frutti label-head Ryan Blyth started out playing on the club circuit in his home town in the North of England. His evident talent, and individual and charismatic sound, made him a hit with clubbers which led to Ryan launching his own brand of after parties which ran for 8 successful years.
Welcomed into the CUFF family in May 2014 by Amine Edge & DANCE, Ryan’s highlights have since included playing his own brand of house, and deep and techno house – an elegant and unique balance of traditional, contemporary and progressive styles – at prestigious, high-profile gigs at venues including London’s Ministry of Sound and Fire; Manchester’s Albert Hall; Outbreak festival; and a spectacular residency at Sankeys, Ibiza, in 2014 and 2015.
His collaboration with songwriter After 6, “Trust Me”, was aired on BBC Radio 1 show by DJ Cameo and became one of the first new signings to the Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint.
Over this period, Ryan has spend a great deal of time producing and built up an impressive following on Soundcloud where he boasts over 18,000 followers and in excess of 4 million listens to date. His tracks feature infectious vocals, driving basslines and beats to rock the dancefloor.
