DJ CeeSix, real name Colin Aldridge, “The Heartbeat of the Party”, is an award-winning international DJ and radio presenter renowned for his diverse music selection and charismatic charm. His impressive career spans across Europe, the US, the Caribbean, and Africa, making him a globally recognised name in the music scene.
Known for his skills in mixing the hottest tunes, CeeSix started DJing at the age of 16, inspired by his father who was part of the reggae sound system, Taurus Hi Power. His DJ journey began with vinyl mixing, with his first record being “Mr Mention” by Buju Banton. From these humble beginnings, CeeSix has grown into a highly sought-after DJ, with his talent being recognised in winning the CMA Award in 2011 for Best Club DJ.
CeeSix’s music style is versatile, specialising in R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeats, Reggae, Pop, Party classics, and House & Garage. He has demonstrated his talent at diverse events ranging from family functions, parties, weddings, and shopping events to nightclubs entertaining 1000s of ravers.
As a radio presenter, CeeSix has hosted shows on several community radio stations including PowerJam, MetroLove, Blues FM, Blazing FM, Whoa FM, Riddim Radio, Bang Radio, and OnTop FM. He has also received nominations for the Dancehall Industry Awards for Best Community Radio Presenter and the Brit Reggae Award for Best Community Radio Presenter.
DJ CeeSix continues to create a buzz on the club scene, with regular clients including Tramp Nightclub, actor Stanley Tucci, TV personality Fred Sirieix, filmmaker Fredi Kruga, and entrepreneur Afridiziak. He has also showcased his talent at high profile venues including London’s O2 and Karbon in Glasgow, and worked with acclaimed artists and DJs.
