Dan McKie is a renowned DJ and producer known for his diverse range of house and techno music who jets between Ibiza, London, Barcelona, and Andorra. Whether it’s funky disco grooves, laid-back beach vibes, or dirty dance floors, Dan McKie always brings his A-game.
With his unique and energetic blend of DJ sets, Dan is an approachable and talented producer who shares his passion for electronica on the dance floor.
Dan’s productions have been released on some of the world’s most respected labels, including Stealth Recordings (with Dimitry Soul on “Bae B” and “A Little More”), Southern Fried (with Will Clarke on “The Bull”), Static (with “Mad For An Olive”, “On The Lowdown”, and “Apex”), Airborne (with Rui Da Silva on “Touch The Sky”), Freakin 909 (“Little Rhythm”), Frequenza (“Ginger Terror” and “The Plunger”), Good For You Records (“Darrrncing”), and ten records on Pacha Recordings Ibiza. He has also released under his Editr alias, with “Get Down Alone” signed to PP Music and “On My Mind” to Hot Digits. His work on his own label, 1980 Recordings, has been widely supported across the board by the likes of Danny Howard, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Fatboy Slim, Rob Da Bank, Monki, B-Traits, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Vanilla Ace, Roger Sanchez, and many more.
Dan is a regular on the White Isle of Ibiza, with appearances at Space Ibiza, Es Vive, Turo Turo, Booom!, Carl Cox’s Sands, and Café Mambo Radio. He was also resident for Neil Moore and BFSB Radio as the official Ibiza Resident DJ, broadcasting live from the iconic Café Mambo studios from 2013 for a prolific five-year stretch.
Dan has toured extensively as a Pacha Ibiza global ambassador and under his own name, playing venues in Egypt, the UK, Germany, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, Spain, Ireland, and beyond.
