Over the past few months we’ve spoken about crazy DJ booths and performing in zero gravity. Now an Australian DJ has recorded his latest mix from a hot air balloon.
As part of a collaboration with Microsoft, Basenji took to the skies in New South Wales with his Surface Pro to produce and perform a custom mix.
The promotion was created to demonstrate the power of the Surface Pro with mobile connectivity and it proved to be a success as Basenji said; “I needed to convert the file I created, jump online, download some software, convert the file from one format to another before uploading directly to Soundcloud and it all worked in a matter of minutes while we were up in the balloon.”
“It was great to be able to take my studio to a completely new environment, one I never thought was even possible.”
